ABOUT ‘THE ATOMIC ISLAMIC IRAN

What you read here under the title 'The Atomic Islamic Iran' is an unfinished work which has initially been parts of a would be book with the same title. That book was to be a conclusion of my long and an in-dept research on the Iranian nuclear programs from its beginnings in 1963 to the present and its further development, secretly and overtly, by the Islamic government.

The factual and resourceful book “The Atomic Islamic Iran” was going to contain an introduction, four main chapters, a number of sub-chapters, some of the Iranian officials and the nuclear sites photos, with notes and references.

The introduction touches upon a briefing on what the issue is, a quick look at the ideological armed forces of Iran and a picture of the Iran ’s ruling political system.

The four main chapters would be as follows:

- Iran ’s nuclear programs before the revolution (1964 to 1979);

- Iran ’s nuclear programs from 1980 to the mid 2002;

- Iran ’s nuclear programs from 2002 to the present time;

- The international challenge on Iran ’s nuclear programs.

In the first chapter, the readers would find when and how the Iran ’s nuclear program began, which countries were the first Iranian nuclear program suppliers, what were the Shah’s intentions to make Iran a nuclear power, and to what scale did the program advance and improve?

In this chapter, the readers will read the analysis of Iran ’s first nuclear research reactor (in Tehran ) which was supplied by the US to enrich uranium to 93%. (93% enriched uranium is used in nuclear bomb making).

An in-dept look at the construction of Iran ’s main nuclear project, the1000 MW light-water reactor in Bushehr (south of Iran ), which was 77% completed before the 1979 revolution, is another main part of the first chapter.

This chapter would also contain some exclusive interviews to answer the main questions about Iran ’s nuclear know-how in the years before the revolution.

The second chapter focuses on the Islamic regime’s attempts to resume and expand the Shah’s nuclear program. The reader will find how the Islamic regime has attempted to obtain nuclear materials and technologies from the first months of gripping power. The readers will find Iranian regime’s secret connections with the smugglers throughout the world and with the governments with which the Iranian regime has proliferated the weapons of mass destruction.

In the second chapter, the reader will see the important role of the so-called “Father of the Pakistan’s nuclear bomb” in the Islamic Iran’s nuclear programs, the important role of China in constructing some of the main nuclear facilities in central Iran, the Islamic regime connections with South Africa and Argentina in 1980s to obtain raw uranium and some enrichment technologies, and the important role North Korea played in producing Iran’s ballistic missiles.

The third chapter, was supposed to focuses on the Iran ’s nuclear facilities constructed after 2002, the year that Iran ’s 18 year secret nuclear programs were revealed. There are the key facilities to make any country a member of the so-called ‘nuclear club’ such as a huge facility for enrichment uranium in central Iran, Natanz, a heavy-water plant and a heavy-water reactor in Arak (another town in central Iran) to produce plutonium, and completing a 1000 MW light-water reactor in Bushehr, that can be used in reprocessing uranium and obtaining plutonium. (A nuclear bomb is being made through one of the two common paths, either using high enriched uranium, or using plutonium).

And finally, chapter four reflects the international challenge on Iran ’s nuclear programs.

Each chapter would contain photos, notes and references.

I had to make do with rather brief introduction and a single chapter on the topic merely because my attempt to find a suitable publisher has, so far, proved unsuccessful. Once I overcome this hurdle, I shall complete the book.

Although the book is uncompleted, what is published here might be useful for scholars and those who search for an answer to the question:

Does the Islamic Republic of Iran attempt to produce the nuclear bomb?
